Wallet addresses

Wallet addresses are used to receive crypto when you buy through B4bit OTC. Each address must match the selected currency and network.

You need a wallet when:

  • You buy crypto and want to receive it in your own address.
  • You want to prepare destinations before creating conversions.
  • You operate with several currencies or networks and need to tell them apart.
  1. Go to Banks and wallets.
  2. Open the Wallet addresses tab.
  3. Select Add wallet.
  4. Complete the requested data.
  5. Save the address.

Common fields:

  • Label: internal name to recognize the address.
  • Network: blockchain or network where the address exists.
  • Currency: associated cryptoasset.
  • Address: full wallet address.
  • TAG/MEMO/Note: additional value required by some networks.

Before saving or using a wallet, confirm:

  • The currency is the one you want to receive.
  • The selected network is compatible with that address.
  • You copied the full address.
  • You did not mix addresses from different networks.

A wallet may show compliance or verification statuses. Use the address in a conversion only when the dashboard shows it as available for the currency and network you need.

Common statuses:

  • Pending: the wallet was added and is being reviewed.
  • Approved: the wallet may be available to operate.
  • Rejected: the wallet cannot be used.
  • Verified: the address was confirmed.
  • Failed: verification was not successful.

You can delete a wallet so it is no longer available for new conversions. This does not change orders that have already been created.

  • Visually check the first and last characters of the address.
  • Do not reuse an address if you no longer control that wallet.
  • Do not use networks you do not understand.
  • Always review TAG/MEMO when the network requires it.
  • Keep a clear label by currency and network, for example USDT Tron treasury.
