Getting started
Before creating your first conversion, make sure your account is ready, your verification has been submitted, and at least one destination is available.
1. Sign in or create your account
Section titled “1. Sign in or create your account”Access the B4bit OTC dashboard with your email and password. If you are creating a new account, complete the registration and confirmation steps shown on screen.
If you forgot your password, use the recovery flow from the sign-in page.
2. Choose how you will operate
Section titled “2. Choose how you will operate”When starting verification, the dashboard asks whether you want to operate as:
Individual: a person operating with their own funds.Company: a legal entity represented by an authorized person.
3. Complete verification
Section titled “3. Complete verification”Until verification is approved, the dashboard may block new conversions. If you see a pending, under review, or correction-required KYB notice, follow the action shown on screen.
Common statuses:
Pending: information is missing or the file has not been submitted.Under review: the information was submitted and is being reviewed.Approved: you can operate, subject to the limits visible in your account.Needs corrections: review, correct, and resubmit the information.
4. Add destinations
Section titled “4. Add destinations”To operate you need at least one destination:
- To buy crypto, add a wallet address compatible with the currency and network you want to receive.
- To sell crypto, add a bank account to receive fiat.
Destinations may show review or verification statuses. Use only destinations that appear available in the dashboard.
5. Review fees and limits
Section titled “5. Review fees and limits”In Settings > Fees you can review the conditions that apply to your operations, such as markup, fixed fee, minimums, maximums, and daily cap when applicable.
Before paying a conversion, review the summary shown in the flow: amount to convert, amount to receive, price, fees, and destination.
Checklist before operating
Section titled “Checklist before operating”- Your account is approved to operate.
- You have an available bank account or wallet.
- The wallet network matches the selected network.
- You understand whether you are buying or selling crypto.
- You reviewed fees, limits, and final amount.
- You can make the exact payment from your bank or wallet.
