Unique QR

Start using the Unique QR and offer your customers a faster, more modern way to pay!

What is it?

A QR code linked exclusively to a device of your merchant account. You can print it for the counter or share it as a link.

How it works

Section titled “How it works”
  1. Your customer scans the QR or opens the link.
  2. They access a page where they enter the amount they are going to pay (and optionally a note).
  3. They select the cryptocurrency they want to pay with.
  4. They complete the transaction. B4bit Pay handles the rest.

Activation

Section titled “Activation”
  1. Go to the Devices section in Settings.
  2. Click the QR icon next to the device you want to use.
  3. (Optional) Modify the URL alias to customize the public link.
  4. Choose the default currency.

URL format

Section titled “URL format”

The public QR URL follows the pattern:

https://pay.b4bit.com/d/<alias>

For example: https://pay.b4bit.com/d/mystore

You can change the alias at any time from the dashboard.

FAQ

Does my customer need a special app? No. It works with the phone’s native camera or any browser.

Do I need an internet connection? Yes, the customer needs a connection to complete the payment.

Is there a scan limit? No, it can be used as many times as you want.

Can I change the alias afterwards? Yes, at any time from Settings → Devices.

Can I accept cash payments with this? No, the unique QR is only for cryptocurrency payments.

Which cryptocurrencies are accepted? All those available in your merchant account. See supported cryptocurrencies.

Where do I see received payments? In the Payments section of the dashboard; each unique QR tags the corresponding merchant_device.

Which fee applies? The standard B4bit Pay fee: 0.95% per transaction.
